“Earth Day Every Day”, a Special Music Service featuring Andrew McKnight.

Andrew McKnight is a nationally-acclaimed singer/songwriter and guitarist who celebrates rural America, weaving his masterfully crafted songs, humorous stories and poetic drama into a musical soundscape sketched with shades of Appalachia, tasteful slide and jazzy blues, feisty anthems, and rustic folk.

We would love to have you come celebrate and worship with us.  Please join us  at the Progressive Women’s Association in downtown Clarksburg, WV on March 15, 2015 at 11 am.

Children are welcome.  There will be an activity for children during the service, and a coffee hour afterwards.

The building is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible restroom.

The service will be followed by a potluck luncheon. Vegetarian soup will be provided.

While wandering through Devon on a trip to England a couple of years ago, we came upon the Sidmouth Unitarian Church, the “Dissenter of Sidmouth”, founded in 1710,

On February 26 through March 8, 2015, The Act 2 Theatre Company will present What the Bellhop Saw featuring West Fork Unitarian Universalists’ own Persephone Hall.

“A nice fellow checks into an expensive suite in New York City’s finest hotel, precipitating a fantastic nightmare involving a Salman Rushdie-type author, an Iranian terrorist, a vile wife from hell, a conniving bellboy, an incompetent F.B.I. agent, a nubile celebrity mad maid, a dimwitted secretary, and a little pigtailed girl.”

On December 11, 2014, The Act 2 Theatre Company will present a public reading of 1 in 4, a new play by Suzie Hall

“1 In 4” refers to the proportion of college women in the United States who will be sexually assaulted before they graduate. The play follows the experiences of four women

“Top Ten Reasons Liberal Religion Still Matters” – Visiting Unitarian Universalist minister, Don Rollins, will lead us in a look at why our great tradition still has something to say.

Rev. Don Rollins is in his 24th year as UU religious educator, musician, and minister. He recently returned to his native southern Ohio, where he works as a counselor for a juvenile court.

Join us on Sunday, 3 August, as we continue our celebration of the summer at the West Virginia State Wildlife Center (also known as French Creek Game Farm) at French Creek, WV — picnic, hiking, and native West Virginia animals.

We will meet in the picnic area south of the elk enclosure at eleven. Bring a picnic lunch to share. Note that WFUU has arranged group admission to the Wildlife Center — at the admission office just say you’re with the West Fork Unitarian Universalists group.
