Daylight Saving Time BEGINS at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 10. Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour tonight so you’re not late tomorrow morning!
Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, March 10 2019, when 2:00 a.m. is magically revealed to be 3:00 a.m., leaving an hour-long hole in the night. Please remember to set your clocks forward one hour on Saturday evening so you will be on time for all your important appointments during the coming weeks. At 11:00 on Sunday morning (which might feel more like 10:00), to acknowledge this miraculous day, Robert Helfer will ponder whether we can actually save daylight, and why we might want to.
Our services are Sundays at 11 a.m. at the Progressive Women’s Association Uptown Event Center, 305 Washington Ave. in downtown Clarksburg, behind the Courthouse. There are classes for children and adults 10 to 10:45 a.m., and a coffee gathering before the service. More about us.
From 10 to 10:45 a.m. we will be discussing “Faithful Stubbornness” and “Response to Peter Morales” from the book Centering: Navigating Race, Authenticity, and Power in Ministry.
We would love to have you come worship with us.
Children are welcome. There is childcare and an activity for young children during the service.
The building is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible restroom. You may park on the south side of the building, which is marked reserved for the PWA.
The schedule for the current adult religious education class is here.
Daylight Saving Time ENDS at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 5. Remember to set your clocks back one hour tonight so you’re not an hour early tomorrow morning!
In case you missed us on Sunday, the full service — words and music — has been posted. You can see it all at westforkuu.org/2017/03/09/sunday-march-12-2017-saving-daylight/
