We will be at the PWA Uptown Event Center in Clarksburg. It is 305 Washington Ave, Clarksburg, WV 26301.

We will be meeting at the Uptown Event Center in Clarksburg, WV at 11am.

Our service with be about community with a message about “Transcending Individualism”.

Join us on Sunday, 2 August, for a celebration of the summer at Audra State Park — pot-luck picnic, hiking, and perhaps swimming in the Middle Fork River. We will have a small discussion/devotional about looking for guidance and wisdom led by Cricket.

From Rte. 33.
Turn on Talbot Road. At the first Y, stay left. At the next intersection, turn left and travel approximately six miles. You will reach Audra State Park. This route is approximately 13 miles from Rte. 33.

From Belington
At the only stoplight in town, turn on to Audra State Park Road and stay straight. This route is approximately 10 miles from Belington.

South on Interstate 79
Take Exit 115 (Stonewood/Nutter Fort exit).
If traveling south on interstate 79, take exit 115 (Stonewood/Nutter Fort exit). Make a left on to Rte. 20 south. After 4 miles, you will need to make a right to stay on Rte. 20 south. Stay on Rte. 20 for approximately 10 miles. Then make a left on to Rte. 119 north. Follow Rte. 119 north for approximately five miles. Turn right on to Audra State Park Road. Follow for six miles until you arrive at Audra State Park.

Regrets for Sunday 19 July 2015

Often things do not go as planned. Sunday July 19, 2015 is one of those times. We will not be able to have a service on this Sunday.   We are sorry if you were counting on this service or planning to visit.  We will be at Audra on the August 2nd. We will be back at the PWA event Center on the 16th. There will be more services to look forward to in the future.

A Kids’ Service, by members of the West Fork Unitarian Universalists.

We would love to have you come celebrate and worship with us.  Please join us at the Progressive Women’s Association in downtown Clarksburg, WV on June 21, 2015 at 11 am.

Children are always welcome, especially for this service.  This week’s service will focus on the children.

Please stay for coffee or tea after the service.

The building is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible restroom.

Sunday May 17, 2015: Our Principles Guide Us

Come Join us on Sunday May 17, 2015 at the uptown event center in Clarksburg, WV as we explore what binds us together as we walk our spiritual paths.

There are seven principles which Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote:
1st Principle: The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
2nd Principle: Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
3rd Principle: Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
4th Principle: A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
5th Principle: The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
6th Principle: The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
7th Principle: Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

“Earth Day Every Day”, a Special Music Service featuring Andrew McKnight.

Andrew McKnight is a nationally-acclaimed singer/songwriter and guitarist who celebrates rural America, weaving his masterfully crafted songs, humorous stories and poetic drama into a musical soundscape sketched with shades of Appalachia, tasteful slide and jazzy blues, feisty anthems, and rustic folk.

We would love to have you come celebrate and worship with us.  Please join us  at the Progressive Women’s Association in downtown Clarksburg, WV on March 15, 2015 at 11 am.

Children are welcome.  There will be an activity for children during the service, and a coffee hour afterwards.

The building is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible restroom.

The service will be followed by a potluck luncheon. Vegetarian soup will be provided.
