Masks by Shel Silverstein is a poem about the dangers of not being vulnerable.
According to the dictionary, acceptance means 1) the action of consenting to receive or undertake something offered, 2) the action or process of being received as adequate or suitable, typically to be admitted into a group, 3) agreement with or belief in an idea, opinion, or explanation, and 4) willingness to tolerate a difficult or unpleasant situation.
I like this one. I thought that it would be a wonderful way to start thinking about living our principles. Blessing the world is an important step.

All Will Be Well from Meg Barnhouse on Myspace.
Rev. Meg Barnhouse is currently minister at First Unitarian Universalist, Austin, Texas.
Rev. Meg was the keynote speaker (and singer) at our District Assembly this spring, so we heard her do this live. The song is a conversation with Julian of Norwich, who was an English mystic, the first woman to write a book in English, and a universalist in belief.
