Sunday, 16 May, 2021: Love is the Doctrine

Our covenant, which is more than a hundred years old in one form or another, may be the only thread that runs through the last century of Unitarianism and Universalism essentially unchanged.

Love is the doctrine of this church,
The quest of truth is our sacrament,
and service is our prayer.
To dwell together in peace,
To seek knowledge in freedom,
To serve others in community,
To the end that all souls shall grow
Into harmony with creation,
Thus we do covenant with one another.

Lisa deGruyter will lead the service and share a bit of the last 40 years of UU history from her experience.
